My goal is to provide an atmosphere where patients feel respected and heard with patience and understanding of their needs and desires. Gaining patients’ trust is vital for helping them attain their oral health goals. In the past 30 years, I have grown to fully appreciate the dynamics of interpersonal relationships with both my staff and our patients. This is not just a job to me ... it is my passion.
Education and Continuing Education
- Undergraduate degree – Oakland University, 1980
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Michigan Dental School, 1985
In the years since graduating from dental school, I have stayed current with technology and advances in treatment options. Continuing education is one of the most important ways for me to ensure that my patients receive the highest quality of dental care and best possible results. Most recently, I have completed advanced training in the fields of implant restoration, Invisalign®, and dentures.

Outside the Office
I grew up on a Centennial Farm with five brothers in Parma, right outside the city of Jackson where I live now. I am very proud of my two sons: one graduated from Central Michigan University and the other is currently attending Michigan State University. My family has always come first.
In my time outside the office, I enjoy fishing and hockey. I have also served on several committees, participated in mission work, and coached my sons’ baseball teams.
